Hon. Tosin Alabi, a hopeful for the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections, has expressed profound gratitude to residents, party faithful and stakeholders for their overwhelming show of love, solidarity and massive turnout at the recent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gathering held in Ona Ara Local Government on Saturday, 7th February 2026.

The event, which transformed into a vibrant celebration of unity and political resolve, witnessed an impressive convergence of enthusiastic supporters who thronged the venue in colourful attires, singing, dancing and openly declaring their unwavering support for Hon. Tosin Alabi’s aspiration.

Reacting to the overwhelming reception, Hon. Tosin Alabi described the massive turnout as a powerful reminder of the trust and confidence the people have reposed in him.

He appreciated constituents across Egbeda and Ona Ara Federal Constituency for their steadfast belief in his vision and pledged never to take their support for granted.

“I am deeply humbled and sincerely grateful for the extraordinary show of love and solidarity from our people.

Your presence, your voices and your unity have strengthened my resolve to serve the people of Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency with dedication and sincerity,” he stated.

Hon. Tosin Alabi further reaffirmed that the development and progress of Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency remain his top priority, stressing that his political journey is driven by a genuine desire to uplift communities, empower youths and expand opportunities for all residents.

He emphasized that even without holding public office, his humanitarian initiatives and community support programmes have consistently focused on making meaningful impact, a commitment he vowed to sustain and expand if given the opportunity to represent the constituency at the federal level.

“I remain committed to living a life of positive impact.

My mission has always been to serve humanity, strengthen our communities and ensure that every ward in Egbeda and Ona Ara experiences tangible growth and progress,” he added.

Hon. Tosin Alabi also appreciated party leaders, ward executives, grassroots mobilizers, women groups, youths and stakeholders who participated actively in both the Ona Ara PDP meeting and the subsequent appreciation gathering held in Egbeda Local Government.

He commended their unity, discipline and collective determination to work towards a shared political vision.

According to him, the energy and enthusiasm displayed across the two local governments have further reinforced the need for continued unity within the party and sustained grassroots engagement as preparations for the 2027 general elections continue.

Political observers have described the growing momentum surrounding Hon. Tosin Alabi’s aspiration as a clear reflection of grassroots acceptance, noting that the strong support base emerging across the constituency signals increasing confidence in his leadership capacity and commitment to people-centred representation.
