    Hon Sanda Donates N2m to Awaye Community Development Association

    ‎In a renewed commitment to grassroots development and educational advancement, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has once again demonstrated purposeful leadership through impactful interventions in the education sector.

    ‎The Council Boss presented the sum of (#2,000.000) two million naira cheque to the Awaye Community Development Association as part of an education intervention and community development support initiative.

    The financial support is aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure, promoting academic excellence, and fostering sustainable development within the Awaye community.

    ‎In the same vein, Hon. Sanda Sikiru extended further support to TESCOM Zone 3, reinforcing his administration’s unwavering dedication to improving teaching and learning standards across the local government.

    The council boss donated a laptop and a generator set to the zone to enhance administrative efficiency, support digital documentation, and ensure uninterrupted workflow despite power challenges.

    ‎Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Sanda reiterated that education remains a top priority of his administration, stressing that meaningful development begins with deliberate investment in human capital.

    The chairman emphasized that empowering schools and education stakeholders is essential for building a brighter future for Egbeda.

    ‎Chief Sunday Olukayode Akintunde, Baale Alawaye of Awaye expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Chairman for his consistent support, describing him as a pragmatic and visionary leader committed to practical solutions and sustainable progress.

    ‎The Permanent Secretary of TESCOM Zone 3, Mrs. Sarah Adeyemi, who was ably represented by Mr. Tijani Ahmed Olakunle, expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, describing him as a visionary leader, passionate education advocate, and a committed partner in grassroots development.

    ‎She commended his unwavering dedication to improving the standard of education in Egbeda Local Government, noting that his consistent support through the provision of essential resources demonstrates his genuine concern for the future of students and teachers alike.
