Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Alawode commended the dedication, discipline, and spiritual devotion demonstrated by Muslims throughout the fasting period.


He noted that the values of sacrifice, patience, and selflessness observed during Ramadan should continue to guide individuals in their daily lives.

The council boss charged the Muslim community to sustain the spirit of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence, emphasizing the need for collective efforts toward building a more harmonious and progressive society.

According to him, Eid-el-Fitr serves as a reminder of the importance of compassion, generosity, and support for the less privileged.
Hon. Alawode also called on citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds, to embrace tolerance and work together in promoting peace and stability within the community and the nation at large.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyful Eid celebration filled with happiness, blessings, and renewed hope.
