….Says Consensus Will be Adopted
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has declared that he and his followers will remain in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for now.
This was as the Governor declared that all candidates interested in seeking elective positions in 2027 will run on the platform of the former ruling party.
Makinde gave the assurance on Monday during a stakeholders’ meeting held at the State Secretariat.
According to him, consensus approach will be Adopted in picking all candidates.
Makinde added that all elected officials serving their first term either at National Assembly or State Assembly would be returned unopposed.
