As Christians across Nigeria and around the world commemorate Easter, a season symbolising sacrifice, hope and new beginnings, Egbeda State House of Assembly aspirant, Samuel Oluwaseun Abioye, has called on residents of Egbeda State Constituency to embrace the spirit of unity, compassion and collective progress.

In his Easter message released on Friday, Abioye reflected on the significance of the season, noting that Easter is not only a time of celebration but also an opportunity for deep reflection on values such as love, selflessness and service to humanity.

“Easter reminds us that after every trial comes victory, and after every darkness comes light. It is a powerful message of hope for our people, especially in these challenging times,” he said.

He urged constituents to use the season to strengthen bonds within their communities, support the less privileged and promote peaceful coexistence irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

Abioye also emphasised the importance of responsible leadership and active citizenship, stating that meaningful development can only be achieved when leaders and the people work together with sincerity and commitment.

“As we celebrate, let us remember those in need and extend a helping hand. Let us also renew our dedication to building a constituency where opportunities are accessible to all and where every voice matters,” he added.

He further encouraged youths to remain hopeful and engaged in constructive activities, assuring them that the future holds great promise if they remain focused and united.

The aspirant, however, wished all residents a peaceful and joyous Easter celebration, praying that the season brings renewed strength, prosperity and progress to every household in Egbeda State Constituency.
