The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda Oyedele, has commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, over the appointment of Mr. Abayomi Fagbenro as Special Adviser on Security and Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi as Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company.
In a statement made available to journalists, Hon. Oyedele described the appointments as a reflection of Governor Makinde’s commitment to rewarding competence, loyalty and dedication to public service.
The council chairman noted that the appointment of Mr. Fagbenro was a strategic step towards strengthening the security architecture of Oyo State, considering his vast professional experience, military exposure and administrative capacity.
According to him, the governor has continued to demonstrate purposeful leadership by appointing capable individuals into key positions that would further enhance effective governance and sustainable development across the state.
Hon. Oyedele also congratulated Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi on his appointment as Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company, describing him as an experienced grassroots politician and administrator with proven leadership qualities.
He stated that Prince Arowosaye’s experience in local government administration and public service would undoubtedly contribute positively to the growth and success of the state-owned company.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has once again shown that his administration remains committed to excellence and good governance through the appointment of tested and trusted individuals into strategic offices,” the statement read.
The Egbeda Local Government chairman expressed confidence that both appointees would justify the trust reposed in them and contribute immensely to the continued progress and development of Oyo State.
He further prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for the newly appointed officials as they assume their new responsibilities in service to the people of the state.
