The Chief of Staff to the immediate- past governor of Oyo State, Dr.Gbade Ojo has hailed Governor Makinde’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic in the state as the best.
The former Chief of Staff during Ajimobi’s administration stated this without mincing words while featuring on a Yoruba political programme at 32FM this Monday.
Aside commending Makinde’s efforts to halt the spread of dreaded coronavirus, Gbade Ojo also threw his weight behind the request of the state government to obtain N20bn loan which the Oyo State House of Assembly approved. He said,
“The approach of the present government in Oyo State on Covid-19 is the best. Those clamouring for lockdown doesn’t understand governance and peculiarity of each state.”
“There is no government that is serious and want to achieve something that will not borrow money with the present economic reality.”
“Ajimobi losing senate seat is a lesson for all politicians that people have the power to decide gets to any position in life.”
