65KM Graded Roads Will Boost Socio-Economic Activities in Orire LG– Hon Lydia Bankole
The caretaker chair person of Orire Local Government area of Oyo state, Hon Lydia Bankole says the grading of five roads in her council area was as a result of Engnr Seyi Makinde’s administration commitment towards the development of the area.
Hon Lydia, who realised the crucial role of solid infrastructure in engendering social and economic development of the council area, quickly swung into actions, noting that the projects were aimed at ameliorating pains by farmers to transport their products.
She added that the deplorable state of the roads have stalled food production and farming activities in the council. She said the grading will also enhance and improve socio-economic activities as well as generates more revenue for the council.
“Even though we have been facing serious economic meltdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.”
