The Executive Vice-Chairman of Ibadan South-West Local Government and prominent political figure, Hon. Adigun Tajudeen Adeniyi, popularly known as ATU, has firmly distanced himself from any political affiliation or alliance other than that of Governor Seyi Makinde and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

In a statement made available to journalists, ATU warned individuals and groups allegedly linking his name to any political movement outside the Makinde political family and the APM to immediately desist from what he described as a fraudulent and misleading act aimed at confusing his supporters and the general public.

He reiterated his unwavering loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde, describing the governor as a visionary leader whose style of governance has transformed Oyo State through institutional reforms and people-oriented policies.

ATU also reaffirmed his support for the party’s governorship candidate, Abimbola Adekanmbi, expressing confidence that the people of Oyo State would elect him to sustain and expand the developmental strides recorded under the Makinde administration.

Speaking on the nation’s political future, the prominent politician expressed optimism that Governor Seyi Makinde possesses the leadership qualities required to lead Nigeria, declaring his belief that the governor would one day emerge as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He further commended Governor Makinde for building strong and enduring institutions that, according to him, will outlive his administration and continue to deliver dividends of good governance for generations to come.
ATU urged his supporters and members of the public to disregard any contrary reports or claims suggesting he has aligned with any other political group, insisting that his commitment to Governor Seyi Makinde, the APM, and the party’s governorship candidate remains total and unwavering.
