The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has applauded the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, following the successful rescue and release of the teachers and pupils who were abducted in Oriire Local Government Area.
He described the development as a remarkable victory for the people of Oyo State and a clear demonstration of the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property.
Hon. Akinleye, in a congratulatory message, commended Governor Makinde for his steadfast leadership and relentless dedication throughout the period of the unfortunate incident. He noted that the eventual freedom of the victims reflects the effectiveness of the Governor’s security initiatives, as well as the professionalism, resilience, and coordinated efforts of the security agencies and all stakeholders who worked tirelessly to ensure the safe return of the abducted teachers and pupils. According to him, the successful operation has restored hope to residents and further strengthened public confidence in the Makinde administration’s resolve to guarantee the safety of every citizen across the state.
The Akinyele Council Boss further congratulated the rescued teachers, pupils, and their families on their safe return, expressing gratitude to God for preserving their lives through the traumatic experience. He prayed that Almighty God would continue to bless Governor Seyi Makinde with divine wisdom, sound health, strength, and greater grace to sustain his people-oriented leadership. Hon.
