In a significant move to reinforce unity and strengthen the APM ahead of the forthcoming elections, the Honourable Member representing Ibadan North East/Ibadan South East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, at his Felele residence in Ibadan.
The meeting marked a new chapter as both respected political leaders resolved their previous differences and reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the overall progress, stability, and electoral success of the party.
During the cordial discussion, both leaders emphasized that the interest of the party and the people must always take precedence over personal misunderstandings. They also deliberated on practical strategies to strengthen the party’s structure, mobilize members at the grassroots, and secure overwhelming victory in the forthcoming elections.
Rep. Agboworin and Hon. Alawode jointly appealed to their political associates, supporters, and party faithful to put an end to every form of rivalry, bitterness, and division. They urged everyone to embrace peace, unity, mutual respect, and love, stressing that only a united front can guarantee lasting progress and electoral victory.
