Tegbe Foundation has concluded its Empowerment Initiative tagged #JTstrikesDiamond
with a colorful Closing Ceremony in Ibadan, marking the successful disbursement of direct
financial support to 60 small businesses and social enterprises across Oyo State, the
majority of them youth-led.


Under the Initiative, the 60 beneficiaries each received grants
between ₦100,000 and ₦500,000.


The Initiative was conceived to celebrate the 60th birthday of the Founder of Tegbe
Foundation, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, and its Presentation Ceremony was
convened in commemoration of International Youth Day, reflecting the Foundation’s
continued commitment to youth development and enterprise. According to the Executive
Director of Tegbe Foundation, Mr Femi Adeleke, “This is more than support, it’s an
investment in youth development, entrepreneurship, and a stronger economic future.”




The Closing Ceremony drew a distinguished gathering of stakeholders, government
representatives, and community leaders, including Oloye Denrele Lekan-Salami (Ajia
Balogun Olubadan), Engr. Bode Johnson, Mr Femi Adeleke (Executive Director, Tegbe
Foundation), Hon. Hafiz Oladejo (Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister on Stakeholder
Engagement), Asiwaju Tayo Alabi, Chief Mrs Funmilayo Arulogun, Hon. Inaolaji Akinloye, and
Hon. Raji Draj Ademola, several of whom delivered goodwill messages affirming strong
support for the Foundation’s work.
The Initiative achieved its stated objective of empowering 60 beneficiaries across the state,
delivering measurable economic support to youth-led enterprises while reinforcing Tegbe
Foundation’s standing as a credible platform for youth and enterprise development.
