This is no other person than Hon. Rita Orji, National Legal Adviser of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, and an ally of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, who marks her birthday today amid funfair, celebration and goodwill from family, friends, associates and admirers.
Hon. Rita is a former member of the House of Representatives, where she represented Ajeromi Ifelodun Federal Constituency of Lagos State at the National Assembly and served as Chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs.
During her time in the National Assembly, Hon. Rita contributed to issues concerning the welfare, protection and interests of Nigerians in the diaspora, bringing her experience and commitment to national service to the fore.
Beyond public office, Hon. Rita has remained committed to philanthropy, particularly in education and youth empowerment.
Through the Rita Odichimma Development Foundation, she has supported indigent students with scholarships and contributed to initiatives aimed at creating better opportunities for young people.
Her empowerment efforts have also extended to artisans and other members of society, reflecting her passion for helping people build sustainable livelihoods and improve their standard of living.
