The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke Ayodele, and Hon. Adebayo Adepoju, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, have jointly inspected the ongoing electricity restoration project aimed at ending years of power outages in affected communities.

The inspection provided an opportunity for both leaders, who are associated with the APM, to assess progress at the project site and receive an update from the project engineer, Mr. Deola, on the rehabilitation work and the steps remaining before electricity supply can be restored.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Adeleke assured residents that electricity was expected to return within the next few weeks. He expressed optimism about the progress of the work and reiterated the importance of completing the project to support homes, businesses and economic activities across Ibarapa Central.

While engaging with the site engineer, Hon. Adepoju pledged to support the restoration project with an additional 300 electricity poles and other necessary materials to facilitate the work and ensure its successful completion. His commitment represents an important contribution to the ongoing effort to restore electricity to Ibarapa Central, offering renewed hope to residents, traders, artisans and business owners who have long felt the impact of the prolonged blackout.

The ongoing restoration is expected to bring relief to residents who have endured prolonged power outages. Both leaders’ visit underscored the importance of continued engagement and coordination among relevant stakeholders to bring the project to completion.
Residents will be looking forward to the successful completion of the work and the return of a more reliable electricity supply to the affected communities.
