The CEO of Afia Construction and Building Engineering and Afia Homes and Properties, Engr Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem who is also Mogaji Adanla has commiserated with the family of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi who passed away on Thursday after a brief illness. He said the former governor did his best for the state during his 8 years tenure at the helm of affairs.
Mogaji Adanla stated in a release signed by him and made available to GOALPOACHER NEWS reads:
“Yesterday was Senator Ajimobi’s turn to return to his creator, who is next, me or you, how prepared are we?
” Allah said I created death and live to know who among you will be of his/her best behaviour.”
“What have you learnt from this, do you ever think it could be your turn anytime, how ready are you , is your current deeds satisfactory enough if you return now as we shall all return unannounced?
“Death is enough as lecture.
Rest in peace Uncle Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, the last time I saw you was at Dr lekan Are’s final burial when you sat next to baba Ladoja and daddy removed my Afia homes branded cap saying is this Abeti aja and you took it from him and said Adanla so you are the one behind Afia homes and I said yes, you systematically passed the cap to me and was it, I saw you off to the car upon your departure not knowing that would be our last day together.”
“You have done your best and the entire people of Ibadan, Oyo state and Nigeria will forever remember you as a leader, you will be greatly missed by everyone.”
