Makinde’s Aide, Adekanbi Aids People With Hearing Impediment
Oyo state government on Tuesday distributed video CD in sign language interpretation to residents of Oyo State with hearing impediment, in order to have access to adequate information on the dreaded coronavirus.
This was disclosed by the Executive Assistant to governor Makinde on disability, Barrister Ayodele Adekanbi during the distribution of the information disc to the beneficiaries at the state secretariat Agodi, Ibadan.
Adekanbi said that the government discovered that Covid-19 has been a virus bordering the whole world and there is no vaccine discovered to cure the virus including person living with disability to protect themselves.
He advised persons living with disability in Oyo state to adhere strictly to the directive on Covid-19 in order to put an end to the spread of the pandemic in the state.
In his remark, the leader of the hearing impaired in Oyo stare, Isaac Adefenwa appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for always carrying persons living disabilities along in his administration and also extended his gratitude to the Executive Assistant to governor on persons living with disabilities for the good representation of his constituency.
