No fewer than thirty-five applicants, this Monday, received their Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) as the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde distributed the Certificates to the second batch of recipients under sixty days scheme of the Oyo State Government Home Owners Charter Programme.
The Governor, represented by the Oyo State Commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Barr Abiodun Abdu-Raheem handed over the (C-of-O) to applicants who have fulfilled necessary requirements.
While assuring the applicants of the validity of the Document, the Commissioner further added that the exercise shall be a continuous one.
Barrister Abiodun further explained that in fulfillment of the 15% discount promised by the Government to the first two thousand applicants, the beneficiaries will enjoy free Stamp Duty and registration which costs five thousand and twenty thousand respectively making a total of twenty-five thousand naira.
The Second Batch of Beneficiaries of the Oyo State Government Home Owners Charter Programme, expressed satisfaction over the documents received.
You will recall that the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Monday, 1st of June 2020, distributed the first set of digitized Certificate of Occupancy to successful applicants under the Oyo State Home Owners Charter Scheme.
