JUST IN:Makinde, Oyinlola, Jegede Meet in Ibadan, Strategize on Ondo Election
As Ondo State Governorship election is fast approaching,Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has met with PDP National Campaign council for Ondo State Governorship Election 2020.
The essence of the meeting according to Makinde is to strategize and place PDP in order ahead of the poll.
GOALPOACHER NEWS correspondent reports that the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State Governorship, Election Eyitayo Jegede, Former Governor of Osun State Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, National Organising Secretary, Retired Col Austin Akobundu, National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan were received by Governor Seyi Makinde at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
Governor Seyi Makinde said the meeting became necessary so as to map out strategies and put PDP in good Position so as to ensure victory of party in the Ondo Governorship Election.
According Governor Makinde,with the support of the people of Ondo state PDP is coming back to govern the state.
The National Organising Secretary of the PDP,Retired Colonel Austin Akobundu said the PDP is set to take the mantle of leadership from the All Progressives Congress come October Governorship Election.
He stressed that the national campaign council for Ondo State Governorship Election 2020 is working ascidiously to take over Alagbaka government house through the overwhelming support of the people of Ondo State
In his remarks,the PDP candidate for 2020 Governorship Election in Ondo state, Eyitayo Jegede said people of Ondo State will Experience new lease of life if he is given the mandate to serve come October this year.
The PDP Ondo State standard bearer promised to address challenges facing the Agricultural sector while reducing high cost of tution fees. He said heath care will be brought down by his administration for the overall development of Ondo state
Eyitayo Jegede also solicited for peaceful election before, during and after election.
Ondo State Governorship Election is expected to hold on Saturday 10th October this year.,where people of the state will decide who governs them for another 4 years through the Ballot.
