Adelabu at 50:Vows to Dislodge Makinde, PDP in 2023
The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 election in Oyo state, Oloye Bayo Adelabu has expressed confidence that his party will defeat the incumbent, Govermor Seyi Makinde and the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in the 2023 governorship election in the state.
Adelabu stated this at a press conference in commemoration of his 50th birthday in Ibadan on Thursday.
Adelabu said his lost in the 2019 polls has enabled him to prepare for the political challenges that lie ahead noting that the defeat has further entrenched him to the people and the party structure in all the 33 Local Government Areas.
Adelabu however said the coalition parties that adopted the PDP candidate in the 2019 election have collapsed with several big-wigs in the dumping the ruling party. He noted that the present administration has not performed since his inauguration. He noted that the gladiators that helped Makinde in 2019 have deserted him, Ladoja, Lanlehin, Sarafa Alli among others.
Adelabu lauded the national leadership of the APC for the ongoing reconciliation which he said will place the party in proper position as ahead of the 2023 governorship race.
Some of the projects lined up to be commissioned include: Peculiar Golf View, Onireke, GRA, Ibadan, Bayse one Brick House Hotel among others. Dignitaries expected to commission the projects are Lagos State Governor and his Osun State counter part, Sanwo Olu and Gboyega Oyetola.
It seems Penkele MESS is blindfolded & could not see that Seyi Makinde has out performed APC’s 8 years in less than 2 years. He is not telling the truth and cannot make a good leader!
