Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has publicly commented the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Water Corporation, Elias Adeojo for actualizing his vision for the provision of potable water across Oyo State.
Makinde gave the commendation on Monday at the Omituntun 2.0 Mid-Term Leadership Retreat, held at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan.
“Significantly, we brought water to our people. Let me also thank Elias Adeojo for his role in this.
“He did the unexpected and is still working. Well done.”
I pick this from the mid-term review Stakeholders program at IITA today when GSM is making is remarkable point on the development of Oyo State so far.
This is key to my understanding as we have discussed.

Recall that the Governor had in December 2024 eulogized Elias for his performance at the helms of Oyo State Water Corporation.
Goalpoacher News reports that Elias Adeojo who is cool, composed, firm and highly cerebral has proven his leadership acumen by transforming the once moribund agency .
During Makinde’s first term, he served as a Commissioner in OYSIEC.
