Ogbomoso South LG Boss, Hon Oyedokun Congratulates Chef Tope On Record Breaking Achievements
The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government area of Oyo State, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has congratulated Chef Tope Maggie after he broke the longest cooking hours.
The council boss stated that Tope’s steadfastness and dedication have not only broken records but set a new standard in culinary endurance.
Goalpoacher News had reported earlier in the week that Hon Oyedokun visited the Ogbomoso Chef to offer him both moral and financial support to ensure he achieved the target of world record. His words:
Dear Chef Tope Maggie,
“Congratulations on achieving the remarkable feat of completing a 200-hour marathon cooking session!
“Your steadfastness and dedication have not only broken records but have set a new standard in culinary endurance.
“Your passion for cooking is truly inspiring, and we applaud your incredible accomplishment.
“Here’s to many more milestones in your culinary journey.”
Alan Fisher claimed the longest cooking marathon (individual) after clocking in a time of 119 hours 57 minutes.
That is more than 24 hours longer than the previous record held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci.
Alan Fisher’s record has been surpassed by Chef Tope Maggie clocking in a time of 200 hours.
Official announcement is now being expected from the Guinness World Record.
