The Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso South local government, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy popularly known as OOT has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for investing in infrastructures that have direct value to the economic development and well-being of residents of Oyo State.
Hon Oyedokun gave the commendation on Thursday as President Bola Tinubu commissioned Alao Akala Highway.
“As the Chairman of Ogbomoso South, I am honored to welcome His Excellency, Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, and His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde to the commissioning of the 76.7-kilometer Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Road.
“This significant infrastructure project by Governor Makinde will greatly boost Ogbomoso’s economy.
“Improved road connectivity will enhance trade, transportation, and overall development in our region, marking a new chapter of progress and prosperity for Ogbomoso.
“We look forward to the positive impact this road will have on our community.”
