    A Year in Office: Oyo SDG Boss, Yusuff Gives Account of Stewardship, Applauds Makinde

    The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Makinde on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Hon Kunle Yusuff MON, has highlighted what he has been able to achieve in office since his appointment as the Governor’s aide to superintend over Oyo state SDG.

    In an interview with GOALPOACHER NEWS correspondent on Friday, Hon Yusuf also commended His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for living up to expectations with his four cardinal points agenda which cut across SDG targets for year 2030.
    His words:


    “To the glory of Almighty Allah, today makes one year in Office as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).”

    “In one year SDGs Office was able to accomplish the following:

    1. Executed, Completed and Handedover of 143 various projects in 13 Public Schools in 12 Local Government.

    B. Inaugurated Oyo State Secondary Schools SDGs Club to nurture Intellectuals at your young age.

    C. Open up wider administrative relationships with UN- Development Partners, Donor Agencies and Civil Society Organisations.

    C. Collaborating with Basic Health Board on Renovations of 12 Health Care Centres.

    D. Training of Health Practitioners on Covid- 19 Technicalities.

    E. In the process of awarding 58 Motorised Boreholes across the State.

    F. Officiating SDGs Technical Officers in nine Ministries/Agencies and in 33 LG.”

    “Presently, Oyo State SDGs is now among the first 11 States basically because this administration’s four points agenda centre around SDGs Globa 17 Goals.”

    In all, the Oyo SDGs Office team thanks Governor Seyi Makinde for his administrative consideration and support.

    Personally, I consider serving His Excellency as a Privileged, for us in SDGs Office our appreciation couldn’t have been completed without mentioning the SSG, Chief of Staff, Commissioner for Finance, Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftancy, Chairman Advisory Council, DG Due Process, Accountants General, SA- Special Duties, PA to the Governor, Directorate of Monitoring office of the Governor, Auditor- General office and ADC. I can’t forget Deputy Chief of Staff and Sina Oyediji for their support.”

    “I also wish to appreciate SDGs PSU, SDGs Office Secretary and my PA for both administrative and moral support.”

    “Conclusively, it’s also important to appreciate the political leadership in my Federal Constituency for always standing with me and believe firmly in Governor Makinde’s administration”. Yusuff concluded.
