Members and leaders of Temidire Estate, Jakan Agbowo Extension in Akinyele Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have thanked the council Chairman, Hon Ahmed Kazeem Adekunle for inaugurating a 500KV transformer the LCDA donated to them.

Aside the donation of 500KV transformer, Hon Kazeem also graded about 4km road in the community which had been in a deplorable condition as a result of it neglect by the immediate-past administration.

GOALPOACHER NEWS learnt that the community hasn’t being enjoying regular power supply because of their obsolete transformers.

Hon Kazeem said, “the essence of governance was to bring succor to the people, noting that the transformer was part of his promises to the community. We also graded the road at the community to aid human and vehicular movements.”

He advised the community to see the transformer as their personal property and protect the equipment.

The council boss urged residents of the community to continue to support Governor Seyi Makinde in his developmental strides being witnessed across the state.

“Doing this will encourage us to extend the gesture to other communities. Though, our interventions were based on the need of each community,” he said.

Speaking on behalf of the community, the Chairman, Temidire Estate Landlord Association, Alhaji Muftau Busari said,
“We’re thanking you for the unusual gesture and we are asking for more. Our community needs more basic amenities. We appreciate you for what you have done for our community.”

Hon Kazeem Adekunle promised to assist the community with the installation this Friday.
