Amofin Beulah Adeoye Congratulates Newly Sworn-in LG Chairmen, Charges Them on Good Governance

 

Amofin Beulah Adeoye the Founder of Beulah Adeoye Foundation in a statement released from the Beulah House at Mokola Hill in Ibadan charged the newly inaugurated Chairmen and their Councillors in the 33 local government areas in Oyo State to be dedicated to providing better living conditions for the people whilst also investing in the future for those coming behind.

In the words of the Oke-Ogun born philanthropist, financial expert, and President of the global Beulah Fund stated, “Consider your predecessors in office, how many of them inspire you? Please identify and emulate those ones. There are also those who mis-used their opportunity to provide good governance. Now where are they? Every opportunity granted to serve people is a divine endowment and a sacred trust that must never be betrayed.

“Please provide good governance to your people. When you are done, you will return to these same people to sit amongst them, like everyone else. In a few short hours, actually less than 26,280 hours, you will be called to account for your tenure. We wish you the best. But note that this wish is also tenured.”

Meanwhile, it was all fanfare at the Beulah House on Friday night, when it played host to the newly inaugurated Oyo State Local Government Chairmen.

The dinner night hosted by Amofin Beulah Adeoye was organized to celebrate the election victory of the local government Chairmen and to mark their assumption into office.

In his personal note of address, Amofin stated, “our interest in identifying with you before and after your election is deeply rooted in our resolve and passion to serving our people for the purpose of progress and sterling development in your communities. Incidentally, the best place to start that is from the grassroots as you are closest to the people”

He further expressed that “we supported your cause in all possible way within our capacity and truly identified with you, because of your convincing manifesto, loaded with ideas and productive initiatives capable of making tremendous turnaround in the administration of your local government councils. We now charge you to consolidate on the efforts of your predecessors and to also make the interests of your people a priority”

Notable individuals from the elite political class, political party chieftains and stalwarts, scores of supporters and well wishers pulled up at the Beulah House, Mokola hill in Ibadan to celebrate the newly inaugurated chairmen, into the early hours of the next morning.
