The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, warmly congratulates a revered statesman and political icon, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, on the occasion of his birthday today, celebrating him as a symbol of leadership, humility, and excellence in public service.
In his heartfelt message, Hon. Alawode described Ambassador Arapaja as a visionary leader, a grassroots mobilizer, and a bridge-builder, whose selfless contributions to the growth and development of Oyo State and Nigeria have remained impactful.
The council boss further recalled Arapaja’s outstanding performance as the former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, where he served with dedication and distinction.
His leadership also extended beyond Nigeria’s borders during his time as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Jordan, where he represented the country with honour and diplomacy.
Currently serving as the National Vice Chairman (South-West) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Arapaja continues to demonstrate his unyielding passion for unity, good governance, and progressive politics.
“Ambassador Arapaja is not only a political figure; he is a mentor, a team player, and a leader with a rare sense of loyalty and integrity. His efforts in nation-building and his unwavering commitment to the PDP’s success have inspired many, including myself,” Hon. Alawode stated.
