The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party,Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has expressed deep shock over the death of the renowned Islamic preacher, Sheikh Muhyideen Ajani Bello.
In a condolence message issued by Ambassador Arapaja and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant Bamitale Ibrahim , Arapaja described the late fearless Islamic cleric as a preacher whose teachings have impacted countless lives in Nigeria and beyond.
Arapaja noted that the preachings by the late cleric always centre on love, peace, unity, tolerance and the fear of Allah.
He said that the cleric’s sermons often inspired hope, strengthened faith, and promoted morality among Muslims and non-Muslims.
Late Sheikh was an embodiment of piety, wisdom
and humility, always reminding all of their duties to Allah and humanity.
His passing therefore, is a great loss not only to the Islamic community but also to all who cherish his kind of preachings on justice, kindness, and righteousness. He always spoke truth to powers without minding whose ox is gored.
I therefore extend my heartfelt condolences to the entire Muslim Ummah all over the world over this loss.
The deceased will sorely be missed for living an impactful and exemplary life.
“May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and give us the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss,” Arapaja prayed.
