In the true spirit of the festive season, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye has doled out a total sum of N5,230,000.00 million to leaders and members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Surulere and Ogo Oluwa local governments.
The generous gesture from Barrister Olaleye has been widely commended by leaders and stakeholders of the ruling party in the two local governments.
At the general meeting of the party held today at the premises of Surulere local government, the Honourable Commissioner donated the sum of N1 million to the party, another N1,210, 000 million to party leaders, local exco, Women leaders and Youth Leaders, and the sum of N1.5 million to 150 party members. In all, N3,710,000 was doled out in Surulere local government.
At Ogo Oluwa local government, Hon Olasunkanmi Olaleye donated the sum of N700, 000 at the party’s general meeting, and another N820,000 to 65 PDP leaders and members.
Chief Rasaq Mustapha who delivered Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye’s message to party members, while speaking with Goalpoacher News, reassured party stakeholders of the Commissioner’s continued focus on their well-being, emphasizing that he would continue working towards the betterment of the PDP in the two local governments by emulating the generosity of the leader of the party, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde.
