The Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Resorts, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Engr. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, FNSE (Arusa I), the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on his conferment of an honorary Doctor of Science (DSc) degree by Lead University, Ibadan.
The award was presented during the institution’s convocation ceremony, where the Olubadan was honoured for his contributions to leadership, public service and the socio-economic development of Ibadanland.
The university noted that the traditional ruler has demonstrated consistent commitment to improving the wellbeing of his people, both during his earlier public service and throughout his reign.
In a statement issued, Dotun Sanusi praised the monarch for the achievement, describing it as befitting of his stature and impact.

Sanusi added that the recognition reflected the high regard in which the Olubadan is held across the country, noting that his leadership continues to serve as a unifying force within Ibadanland.
He also expressed confidence that the traditional ruler would continue to inspire development and uphold the cultural heritage of the ancient city.
