The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, has felicitated with Nigerians and Oyo State citizens as well the members of the party on the celebration of this year’s Easter anniversary.
In a press statement issued in Ibadan, this Friday, by the the party’s state secretary, Alhaji (Hon) Wasiu Adeleke and made available to GOALPOACHERNEWS reads:
“We have shown huge commitment, dedication and support for the party and the government of Engineer Seyi Makinde especially in this time of global pandemic.”
“It is our prayer that very soon, the world will heal and we will all go back to our normal and usual lifestyles”
“We also use this medium to commiserate with the people of Saki, Oke Ogun and Oyo State in general over the twin losses of two of our elder statesmen, nation builders and quintessential leaders.”
“One of them was a fine and brilliant legislator – The Distinguished Senator Robert Koleosho and the other was the former state organizing secretary, Mr Moses Ayandiran.”
“Senator Koleosho was a great man whose impact will be greatly missed.”
“The leadership of the party will also miss the fatherly and advisory role of Baba Moses Ayandiran”
“We pray for the repose of their souls and that God will give their family the fortitude to bear their irreparable losses.”
“In mourning our departed leaders, the Party’s flag will be flown at half mast today.”
“We will like to make it clear again that we remain committed to building a strong political party that is devoid of imposition, impunity and indiscipline.”
