Youths in Ibadan Protesting against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS/FSARS) on Tuesday have sealed off Iwo Road axis area of Ibadan.
The road leads to other states of the federation like Lagos, Osun, Kwara among others. Some of the areas affected in Ibadan include, Lagos Ibadan Express way, Ojoo Express way, New Ife Ibadan Express way, Iwo Road to Gate, Bashorun Idi Ape, Sango, UI, Bodija, Secretariat among others.
The action of the protesters has put traffic around the major roundabout to a halt.

While the protest was ongoing, lawmakers representing Egbeda and Ibadan North and Ibadan South west constituencies, Olasunkanmi Babalola and Obafemi Babajide arrived the scene of the protest to lend their voices to EndSARS saga.

On Sunday, Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), announced the dissolution of SARS, adding that major reforms will be carried out in the Nigeria Police.
The protests, however, have continued, with the youths saying they are dissatisfied with the IGP’s action so far.
