Exit of an Icon: Odidiomo Mourns Late Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun

 

Hon. Dhikirulahi Adedeji Stanley Olajide Odidiomo, the distinguished Chairman of the House Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity and the dedicated representative of Ibadan North West/South West Federal Constituency has extended his condolence message to the entire Ibadan kingdom on the demise of Ibadan highly revered King, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Olubadan of Ibadan land.

Oba Balogun, who represented the Oyo central senatorial district at the Nigeria senate between 1999 and 2003 had passed away at the late hours of Thursday at the ripe age of 82.

The Ibadan Northwest-Southwest constituency Federal honourable in his personally signed condolence message wrote as follows:

“With heavy hearts, we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of His Royal Highness, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Olubadan of Ibadan land Majestyty’s departure left a profound void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.

“Throughout His Majesty’s reign, he exemplified the utmost dedication to his people and the principles of justice, compassion, and progress.

“His unwavering leadership guided the kingdom through both triumphs and challenges, always with wisdom, grace, and a steadfast commitment to the well-being of his subjects.”

“As we mourn the loss of our revered monarch, we stand in solidarity with the royal family, Our executive Governor, Oyo state, and the entire nation in this time of sorrow.

“May the memories of His Majesty’s reign bring comfort and strength to all who grieve, and may his legacy endure as a beacon of inspiration for generations to come
