The Immediate Past Executive Chairman, Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA), Mogaji Akin Fagbemi Ph.D has heartily congratulated the newly appointed Executive Chairman of the Agency, Major Adesagba Adekoya (rtd.) whilst thanking His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE for putting round pegs in round holes.

In a statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Fagbemi extols the visionary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde particularly in the selection and appointment of competent individuals into the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the State Government.

In part, the statement read: “I am pleased to congratulate my brother and the newly appointed Executive Chairman, OYRTMA, Major Adesagba Adekoya (rtd.). Just as other appointments recently announced by His Excellency the Executive Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, the new OYRTMA Boss is a round peg in a round hole.

His cognate experience in the Military and Security sector coupled with his management prowess as the Operations and Service Manager of the renowned Halogen Group would definitely be brought to bear and I am confident he will take OYRTMA to a more enviable height even beyond what we were able to achieve within our time in office.

As we shall always be available to support him and his team towards ensuring OYRTMA maintains its status as the most effective and efficient Agency of the Oyo State Government, I wish him a very successful tenure and I thank Governor Makinde for the opportunity he accorded me to serve as Chairman of the Agency between 2019 and 2023”, Fagbemi said.

It would be recalled that OYRTMA, under Mogaji Akin Fagbemi Ph.D won several highly coveted National and Local awards and commendations including the Most Effective Agency of the Oyo State Government in 2021 among several others.
