Frontline Guber Aspirant in Edo, Onaiwu Condemns Killings in Plateau, Urges Govt Prioritize Security

The leading frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the new face of PDP in Edo state, and the founding DG of the PDP Nigerian Governors Forum, Dr. Earl Osaro Onaiwu condemns the killings in Bokkos local government area of Plateau state, and prays that the souls of the victims rest in peace.

In an interview with journalists in Benin, he said “Human Capital Development is key to reducing crimes and hate crimes as these. There’s no justification possible for such acts. We must come together and condemn evil. A lot of people need a mental health assessment”.

He also sympathises with the good people of plateau state and urges the Government of Plateau State to do more in securing the lives and properties of its people.

“Security is key to my heart, people should feel safe living in Nigeria, these are things that I prioritize in my to do list for Edo, we will work on policies that improve the living standards of people in my dear state. They say charity begins at home”

He also relates this to the unrest happening in Edo state at the moment, between warring parties, it hasn’t been established yet as to who is responsible for the killings and unrest in the state, but he also calls on the security agencies in Edo, the good people of Edo state and the government of the state to combat the matter before it escalates and more lives are lost, causing a break down of law and order.

He also advised the federal government to activate a Joint Task Force responsible in dealing with safety of Nigerians, especially during festive and religious seasons.
