The elected Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode has dedicated his victory at the just concluded Local Government election to God, the Party Leaders/Members and the entire good people of Ibadan South East Local Government whose hard work, moral support and dedication made him achieve the huge success.
The elected Chairman said It wasn’t by his power nor by his wisdom that he emerged the winner of the election but it was the Grace of GOD.
Hon. Alawode affirmed that he is of the conviction that his victory is a confirmation of the people’s love for him, which did not only cut across PDP, members, but also comprises men, women, both young and old in the local government.
“Thanks to everyone in Ibadan South East Local Government for electing me to serve you as the council chairman for the second time.
I am deeply humbled by your immense support, and I want to assure you that I am going to work day and night to make sure that your concerns are heard and addressed”. Hon. Alawode made the assurance.
While appreciating the PDP for given him the opportunity to contest on her platform, the Arole-Omituntun thanked his family, friends, PDP Leaders in Ibadan South East Local Government and loyal supporters who so generously contributed their time and efforts to his campaign across the council area.
Hon. Alawode then assured that he will never betray the confidence reposed in him as his promise of good governance through better performance remains unchanged.
