The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, has presented two motorcycles, five handcuffs, and five pairs of walkie-talkies to the Local Government Vigilante Group as part of efforts to further strengthen security within the council area.
The handcuffs and walkie-talkies were earlier presented during the week, while the motorcycles were subsequently handed over to complement and enhance the operational efficiency of the vigilante group.
Hon. Alawode commended the vigilante group for their diligence, courage, and swift response to security matters whenever the need arises.
He emphasized that security remains a top priority of his administration and reaffirmed his commitment to providing necessary support to agencies and groups working tirelessly to safeguard lives and property within the local government.
The Vigilante Group Coordinator for Ibadan South East, Mrs. Seyi Adegbite, expressed profound appreciation to the Council Chairman for his unrelenting support and consistent investment in the security architecture of the local government.
