The Chairman of Oyo Water Corporation, Elias Adeojo, has brought joy and prosperity to the Muslim community by distributing rams and other gifts.
In line with the holiday’s spirit of generosity, Adeojo’s act of charity not only brought a smile to people’s faces but also highlighted the importance of community service and uplifting the less privileged.
As Adeojo distributed the gifts to families in need, he emphasised the importance of sharing in the joy of Eid-el-Kabir.
“The holiday is not just about our personal celebrations but also about extending a helping hand to those in need,” he said.
Adeojo’s gesture was particularly significant given the economic challenges facing many families in the state.
In a time when food security and financial stability remain elusive for many, Adeojo’s act of kindness was a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives to alleviate poverty and bring hope to the marginalised.
Adeojo also took the opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde’s and other Islamic leaders in the state for their commitment to fostering unity and harmony amongst the people.
“We are grateful to our leaders for their continued support in promoting peace and development in our region,” he said.
