Former House of Representatives aspirant and Member Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. John Adisa Oke LEGACY has commenced the distribution of free National Examination Council, NECO, forms to prospective candidates from Ogbomoso, North, South, Orire Federal Constituency.
Speaking with journalists on Sunday, Hon. John Oke said he has arranged a total 30 slots, i.e 15 slots for PDP members and other 15 slots for prospective students without political affiliation from the zone.
Describing the gesture as “Investment In Human Resources”, he noted that it will boost the development of the state.
Oke, who is known to be a philanthropist through the legacy of his father (Oke LEGACY Foundation), and recently barged his Ph.D at Leadcity University, said he was compelled to embark on the exercise because there are many brilliant students from poor homes who may wish to go to the universities but lack support from their parents and, orphans who have lost their parents without having anyone to cater for them educationally.
He added that it is not the first time he will be dolling out Scholarship to constituents as he had given several scholarships to orphans below and above the age of 11 years from primary school to tertiary level.
Also Organized skill acquisition and empowerment programs for the youths and widows in Ogbomoso land.
Oke, who may be planning to contest 2023 general elections but has not make his intention known recounted financial support and empowerment for handicaps and physically challenged people.
