The Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola, has extolled the exemplary leadership qualities and remarkable transformational achievements of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde (GSM), as the Governor marks his 58th birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued through his Media Aide, Adeleke Afees Adeniran, Hon. Oluokun described Governor Makinde as a visionary leader whose governance philosophy is firmly rooted in sustainable development, inclusive growth, and the overall welfare of the people of Oyo State.
According to the Chairman, Governor Makinde has consistently demonstrated uncommon courage, transparency, and commitment to good governance, translating his vision into tangible transformations across critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, and economic empowerment. These achievements, he noted, have significantly improved the standard of living of the people and repositioned Oyo State on a path of steady progress.
Hon. Oluokun further praised the Governor’s people-oriented leadership style, noting that his administration has continued to prioritize fairness, equity, and accountability while fostering unity and development across all zones of the state, including Oyo town and its environs.
He concluded by praying for continued strength, wisdom, and divine guidance for Governor Seyi Makinde as he continues to steer the affairs of Oyo State, wishing him many more years of impactful service, good health, and greater accomplishments in service to humanity.
