In his bid to complement the efforts of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde in ensuring that all children in Oyo State have access to free and quality education at the grassroots; the Executive Chairman of Afijio Local Government Hon. Sunday Akindele Ojo (SAO) flagged off the distribution of OMITUNTUN 2.0 Free Exercise Books to public primary schools in Afijio Local Government today at the local government secretariat Jobele.
Hon. Sunday Akindele Ojo (SAO) expressed his profound gratitude to his dynamic leader the Executive Governor of Oyo State, traditional councils of Afijio local government, Political Leaders, Co-Political functionaries, Management, Staff, and the entire populace of Afijio local government for their unflinching support so far.
“Without your support, today’s event and all other developmental projects executed by my administration would not be recorded. ” the Chairman stated.
The Council boss further charged the pupils to have a positive attitude towards their academics because the sky is the limit.
Hon. Adedeji Aderinola the PDP party chairman, Hon.Amos Ajao the Leader of the Legislative, Alhaja Amdalat Salau the HLGA, and Education Secretary – Mr. Olaoye Banjo, also delivered speeches.
They gave kudos to the people’s governor His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde and the Executive Chairman Hon.Sunday Akindele Ojo for the kind of leadership and people-oriented programs they embarked upon while they advised the pupils to pay rapt attention in class because they are the future leaders.

Femi Olasunkanmi and other honourable councilors, the Supervisory councillors, the directors, all heads of divisions in local government primary schools board, all the headmaster/headmistress of primary schools in Afijio Local Government among others.
