Hon Wole Akinleye Bags Most Media Friendly Award

 

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Wole Akinleye has been honoured with the prestigious “MOST MEDIA FRIENDLY AWARD”.

The award was presented to him by the Ibadan Mega Voice (IMV), a renowned association that brings together Ibadan Indigenes in the communication field.  

According to IMV President, Mr Kola Olumide, The exceptional contributions of Hon Akinwole Akinleye to the Media and grassroot development in Ibadanland and beyond,  well- being and betterment of lives of the people of Akinyele have brought him the well-deserved recognition.

Olumide reiterated that the achievements of Hon Akinleye is a testament to his exceptional abilities that makes the people of his council and Ibadan Indigenes to be proud of him.

In his remarks, President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes CCII, Barr. ‘Niyi Ajewole affirmed that the dedication and hard work of Hon Akinleye paid off in a remarkable way and that is why he deserves the award. He stressed that he was not surprised that most local government chairmen were among the awardees because they have portrayed themselves as pillar of Support to Ibadanland.

The CCII President General appreciated all the council chairmen in Ibadanland for their financial support to CCII especially towards the completion and maintenance of the new Olubadan House.

Hon Akinwole Akinleye while appreciating the organizers of the programme for the honor stated that the award is a call to do more which he is ready to always do. He assured the people of Akinyele Local Government and Ibadanland that he will continue to do his best to make them proud.

Hon Sikiru Sanda and Hon Kamorudeen Mudashiru were also recipients of the award .
