The chairman-elect of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, yesterday, paid a courtesy visit to the outgoing chairman, Hon. Waheed Akanbi Biiro, ahead of the May 24 swearing-in ceremony.
The visit underscored a smooth transition of leadership and the camaraderie between the two leaders.
The meeting, held at the Ibadan North council, was marked by a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Both Olufade and Biiro exchanged pleasantries multiple times, reflecting the cordial relationship between the outgoing and incoming administrations.
During the visit, Hon. Biiro took the opportunity to introduce Hon. Olufade to the various departments, heads of Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), and staff members within the council.
This tour was designed to familiarize the chairman-elect with the operations and personnel he will be overseeing.
