The executive chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has expressed his heartfelt condolences on the passing of the Osi Balogun of Ibadan Land, Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe.
In a commiseration message released through his head of media, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Olufade described the late Osi Balogun as a brilliant, calm, accommodating, and very lovely individual.
“Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe was not only the chairman of the Ibadan North Traditional Council but also a vibrant and life-filled person,” Olufade stated.
“As recently as July 9th, Baba commissioned the Ibadan North Local Government shopping complex that was built in his honor.
He also represented the Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba Olakulehin, at the unveiling of the new palace.”
Olufade extended his sympathies to the Ibadan North Traditional Council and the Olubadan Council, highlighting his wonderful albeit brief relationship with the late Osi Balogun.
He emphasized that Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe would be greatly missed.
The chairman concluded his message with a prayer for the late Oba’s soul to rest in peace.
