Amidst rainfall, the people of Ward 8, Isale Oba and ward 10,Oke Odo, Igboora, Ibarapa Central Local Government trooped out enmass to rally support towards the electioneering campaign of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Sola Adeleke popularly called Solar on Friday, 5th April, 2024.
The people of Okeodo and Isale Oba could not hide their joy as they trooped out massively to welcome the PDP flag bearer and his campaign team despite heavy rainfall during the rally.
The event was characterised with drumming, dancing and singing with the melodious song of the Ibarapa Fuji megaster, Alhaji Kazeem Osinary.
The Director General of the campaign team, Yemi Atilola, while addressing the mammoth crowd, appreciated the good people of IsaleOba and Okeodo for the show of love for Hon. Sola Adeleke and councilorship candidates of both wards.
He assured them of an all-inclusive representation once the candidates emerged come April 27, 2024.
The Ibarapa Central Local Government PDP Chairman, Hon. Gbade Akinlolu appreciated God and all members of the party at wards 8 and 10 for their commitment and loyalty to the party. He urged them to solidify the good gesture by voting enmass for Hon. Sola Adeleke and all the PDP councillors to compliment the continuity of good governance of Engr Seyi Makinde come April 27.
Another party leader and former caretaker chairman of the local government, Hon. Rufai Oladejo Azeez described Hon Sola Adeleke as a man of integrity coupled with his brilliant experience under Hon. Ademola Ojo’s tenure as the executive chairman of Ibarapa central.
He concluded that with Solar Adeleke as the Chairman of Ibarapa Central, the leadership of the council is in a safe hand.
In his Goodwill message, another party leader, Alhaji Adeyemo appealed to party faithfuls to troop out in enmasss and cast their votes for Hon Sola Adeleke.
In a separate address, party leaders who took turns to eulogise and canvas support for Sola Adeleke’s election include Elder Sann ( ward 10), Elder rafiu (Iroyin Ayo), Alhaji Lateef Azeez who all admonished the people to give their support to Sola Adeleke in other to enjoy dividends of democracy.
Addressing the crowd, the PPD flag bearer, Hon Sola Adeleke shared his vision and mission to take Ibarapa central to the next level.
He further explained that he has been assisting the people of his local government before nursing ambition of contesting for Chairmanship position.
He highlighted the following agenda if given the opportunity of becoming the local government Chairman:
1. Provision of books for all schools across the local government
2. Provision of chairs and tables.
3. Renovation of dilapidated schools across the local government and qualitative education.
4. Provision of mordern equipment for all security agency.
5. Provision of drugs across all health centers in Ibarapa central to ensure quality health services.
6. Subsidized farming inputs for Farmers across communities.
He assured the people of good governance during his tenure and seek more votes, support during election.
