The Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government Area, Ayete, Hon. Lateef Akorede, has sworn-in a new set of Supervisory Councillors and Special Assistants to help in the administration and development of the local government.
The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the council secretariat in Ayete, saw the chairman administer the oath of office to the newly appointed officials.
This is part of the chairman’s efforts to strengthen the leadership structure and enhance service delivery in the local government.
The supervisory councillors will oversee various departments and sectors within the local government, providing guidance and ensuring effective coordination of activities.
The special assistants will also work closely with the chairman and the supervisory councillors to support the implementation of policies and programmes.
In his remarks during the event, Hon. Lateef Akorede emphasized the importance of teamwork, accountability, and a strong commitment to the people of Ibarapa North.
He urged the new appointees to work diligently and prioritise the needs and well-being of the local government’s residents.
