Ibarapakan Begins Distribution of Christmas, New Year Packages, Targets 7,000 Constituents

Member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has begun, just like the way he did in December 2023, the distribution of Christmas and New Year packages to his constituents.

The free foodstuffs initiative in the season of love and family targets seven thousand constituents in Igboora, Idere, Ayete, Tapa and Igangan, the five principal towns that make up Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North.

The distribution of foodstuffs, which commenced on Sunday, December 22, saw teeming constituents, representatives of different associations, communities, units and local government areas receiving the materials with a torrent of prayers and well wishes for the generous act of the legislator.

“It is always a thing of joy for me to spend the period of festivities with my people and to share with them a token of my appreciation for their support for our administration. Today alone, we doled out our food materials to over 3,000 constituents, and we are going to continue tomorrow. Our target is to provide food materials and cash to not less than 7,000 constituents in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North.

“I am aware it is a challenging moment for everyone and I am glad about the distribution process so far to forestall unfortunate incidents in our efforts to give back to our community,” he said.

The lawmaker appreciated the constituents captured in the first batch of the foodstuffs and cash gift, urging everyone to be a good neighbour during the special season of love and family.

He appreciated constituents, necessary stakeholders and well-to-do individuals in the constituency for their unalloyed support for his representation since 2023, promising to continue to prioritise development in his service to the federal constituency.
