In a pragmatic move to bridge the infrastructural deficit in the constituency’s academic environment, member representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has commenced construction of a block of six classrooms at Ayete Grammar School, Ayete, in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The school building project, facilitated by the federal lawmaker, would be the second of its kind in the constituency within the last one month.
Recall that early last month, the lawmaker started constructing a block of three classrooms at NUD primary school V Oke-Odo Community, Igboora in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area, the project, which has been roofed and now at the plastering level.
Commending the lawmaker, Hon. Lawal Akorede, Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the good people of Ibarapa North for the facilitation of the school building, which he said would aid conducive learning and address the problem of a lack of enough classrooms for the students of Ayete Grammar School.
In his words of appreciation, Hon. Akorede described Ibarapakan as a man who always acts based on his constituents’ requests, applauding the lawmaker for adding yet another infrastructural project to the constituency’s academic environment.
Commenting on the project, Hon. Adepoju appreciated the people of Ayete for their support before, during and after his election. He also promised that he would continue to work diligently to ensure that the project cuts across the rest of the communities in the constituency.
Ibarapakan also appreciated the level of community supervision for the about-to-be completed school building at Oke-Odo, Igboora, asking the good people of Ayete to assist in ensuring that the ongoing school building is also well supervised while he is also fully on ground to do the same so that the project is carried out as expected.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character, however, assured the people of the constituency of numerous federal government projects and social intervention programmes he had also facilitated, from which he said the people of the constituency would begin to benefit immediately.
