Member Representing Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has congratulated Hon. (Chief) Ademola Obafemi Ojo on his recent transfer from the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Investment and Cooperative to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.

In his congratulatory message on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Hon. Adepoju praised Otunba Ojo’s sterling leadership qualities, which he believes will enable him to excel in his new role.

He expressed his confidence in Hon. Ojo’s ability to discharge his duties with dedication, leveraging his extensive experience in local government matters, which spans almost two decades, among those glorious years, he said, was being an Algon Chairman.

The lawmaker also commended Governor Makinde for his commitment to appointing indigenes of Ibarapa into key positions in government, demonstrating his love and preference for the region.

The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character emphasised that the transfer of Hon. Ojo is proof to his reputation as a seasoned public servant.

He, however, urged the former two-term local government chairman to continue serving with dedication and selflessness, praying that God grants him the wisdom and strength to make the state proud in his new office as demonstrated in all the past political offices he served.
