Interviewer: Can we meet you sir?
Dr. Akande: I am AKANDE, Kazeem Babatunde PhD,PHF, FIAGP, FAI, CPA, FCIAP, FPD-CR, FICSTM, FWECMA, FNYCN, FTIPS,PEIPA, AfriAP, JP, PSLC
Interviewer: Could you tell us when you were born sir?
Dr.Akande: I was born into an illustrious family of Alhaji and Mrs Akande in Ido Local Government area of Oyo State, Nigeria in 1979.
Interviewer: Could you tell us about your educational affairs?
Dr Akande: Yes, I graduated from the Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, Oyo State, University of Agriculture (UNAAB), Ogun State, ESPAM-Formation University and Sainte Felicite University and several other academic institutions.
My quest for knowledge has taken me far and wide beyond the shores of Nigeria to the Republic of Benin and USA where I got a Master’s Degree in Educational Management, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, a Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing from ESPAM-Formation University and Sainte Felicity University respectively.
The Distinction and honour of Doctor of Science, Honoris Causa in Leadership/ Community Development from ISFOP -Benin University, Doctor of Philosophy in Peace and Conflict Management from PROWESS University, Declaware USA and Honorary Doctorate in Entrepreneurship Development from ESFAM University Benin Republic, Honourary Doctorate in Educational Management from HEIM Weldios University of Management and Technology Benin Republic.
I have also been recently awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Administrative Management and Leadership from ICON UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Republic of Benin.
Interviewer: Wow, I’m thrilled. Does that mean you are an educationist to the core?
Dr. Akande: Of course, I am.
I also provide top-notch solutions to businesses of all sizes, facilitating students admissions, guidance and counseling pupils on the right career path and how to exhibit good morals, engendering peace and conflict resolution knowledge and practical skills.
Interviewer: You are indeed a very unique person. I believe you would belong to some clubs and associations of highly intelligent individuals.
Could you please mention some of them?
Dr.Akande: (smiles) Of course, I am an alumnus of National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Plateau, Nigeria (PSLC 47), the founder of Easy-Prevarsity International School, Director of ORachel International School, the President ECOLERITE Institute for Peace Advancement (EIPA), ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, The Chairman Governing Council; The African Institute for Justices of the Peace, a member of the Governing Council of ESPAM-Formation University, Republic of Benin.
A Dr of Peace and African Ambassador for Peace (AfriAP), He is a Certified Public Administrator (CPA), a Fellow, Africa Institute of Public Administration (FAI), a Fellow, International Academy for Gender and Peace (FIAGP), at which he also serves in the capacity of the South-West Regional Coordinator, a Fellow Chartered Institute of Arts Professionals (FCIAP), a Fellow, Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management FPD-CR, a Fellow, Institute of Strategic Customer Service and Trade Management (FICSTM), Fellow Western Coast Maritime Academy (FWECMA), Fellow National Youth Council of Nigeria (FNYCN), Fellow Triumphant Institute of Professional Studies (FTIPS) and Justice of The PEACE (JP) Oyo State.
Interviewer: (surprised) This is amazing. Kudos to you sir. Why do I feel like there is still more to that….(smiling)
Dr.Akande: (smiling) Well, maybe you are right. I enjoy the membership privileges at 2-Division, Nigerian Army Tiger officers’ Mess.
As a security conscious person, I am a course 4, No: LAS3371 attendee of the Supernumerary Training (SPY) with the Rank of Superintendent of Police (SP). Patron/Marshal; Community Ambassador for Development Engagement Techniques Initiative (CADETI). However, as a sports enthusiast, I am a member of the prestigious Ibadan Recreation Club 1902 and the Ibadan Tennis Club respectively.
At present, I am the President-General of the Alliance of Yoruba Youth Council Worldwide (AYYCW), as well as the Grand Patron of Agbekoya Farmers’ Society, Oyo state.
In addition to that, I am the Charter/Past President Rotary Club of Ibadan-Challenge (ID: 8868315) a family which I joined several years back as a Rotaractor in 2007. I am also a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF), being at the forefront of the establishment of Rotaract Club of LEAD City University, Ibadan.
I have undergone so many trainings under Rotary Academy which includes: Rotary Positive Peace Academy Training Course, President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS), DTTS, DTA, GMS, The Rotary Foundation Seminar 2018 – Zone 1 (TRF), The Rotary Leadership Institute RLI Part I, II III and Graduate Course (membership series) and many more.
I have also served in various capacity and currently serving as Peace Zonal Coordinator (Zone 1), Rotary District 9125 Peace-building and Conflict Prevention Committee for the 2022/2023 Year (IMAGINE ROTARY), Patron Rotaract District 9125 and Membership Chair (Ibadan-Challenge).

Interviewer: This is mind-blowing … The only thing remaining is for you to have an organisation of your own….
Dr.Akande: Seems you see visions…(smiles)…I am the founder Akande Tunde Movement – ATM. To the Glory of God, I have given over 500 scholarships to students and individuals on vocational trainings and school education, also a High Chief; ASIWAJU EWE of Otun Ekiti MOBALAND and OTUNBA BOBATOLU of Orile Kemta in Ogun State.
Interviewer: But how do you connect with your family with your busy schedules?
Dr.Akande: I do my best as to being a very passionate family man, caring father and loving husband despite my numerous schedules and commitments.
I am happily married to a beautiful, understanding wife, Amb. (Mrs) Muibat Abisola Akande whom is an educator, and we are blessed with wonderful children.
Interviewer: This is so delightful…..Your personality must have been duly recognised and awarded at events…am I right?
Dr.Akande: You are right, on account of my consistencies, I have received many awards and recognitions, the awards and recognitions span from the academic world to the secular world.
One of my most recent awards is the Prestigious humanitarian Ambassador award by the Word Insight Christian Centre (WICC) during the WICC 2023 Anniversary convention held on Sunday, 19th of November.
The award by the WICC is as a recognition of my efforts in humanitarian service and impactful contributions in various areas, including education, youth empowerment, and peace-building initiatives.
