In continuation of his birthday celebration, stakeholders in Iwajowa Local Government area of Oyo state organized a befitting get-together in honour of Asiwaju Farinto ‘s birthday.
The event which held yesterday 3rd of April,2025 at the Legislative Chamber Iwajowa Local Government Secretariat Iwere-Ile had traditional rulers and other prominent personalities in attendance has been holding every year to celebrate him as a mark of honour.
In his speech, His Royal Majesty Oba Saliu Oyemonla Azeez, Sabiganna of Iganna and the Chairman Traditional Council of Obas and Chiefs, Iwajowa Local Government who spoke on behalf of other Royal Fathers eulogized and described Asiwaju Hon John Adeniyi Farinto, a former Council Chairman,Lawmaker and for Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Oyo State as an Enigmatic, quintessential, impactful,dogged fighter, a grassroots per excellence and a Leader of Leaders in the Council area.
Oba Oyemonla narrated how Farinto has been supportive and contributing his quota to the development of Iwajowa local government, Okeogun and Oyo State in general.He charged the stakeholders in the council to emulate him.Kabiesi was proud to say that, He remains one of Farinto’s Product.
The Council Chairman, Hon Muritala Oyewumi expressed gratitude to Asiwaju Farinto for being a true leader.
He acknowledged his developmental ideas which has been helpful and impactful to his administration.
He prayed for long life in the land of living. He appreciated the eminent personalities and Royal Fathers for gracing the event.
